Bhavani Devi defeated Australian Fencer,⚔️🇮🇳🏅

 Bhawani Devi won gold in Commonwealth fencing championship 

on wednesday morning, Indians got another proud moment,  when he woke up, there was happiness in their eyes, after Birmingham, 'jana- gana- mana' was played in London and the flag was flying of proudly.  Bhavani devi, who made a place in the hearts of indians with her performance in the olympics,and now gave another proud moment for india.  

The 28-year-old fencer Bhawani devi won the gold medal in the Commonwealth Championship. She defeated Australian player Vasileva 15_10 in the final match of the sabre category. This is his second gold of this championship. 

 Bhavani Devi is the first fencer who played in the Olympics.

Bhavani Devi had brought up laurels of India by winning the first match in the Olympics. She became the first fencer to win the match at the Olympics. 

BHAVANI DEVI learned fencing from bamboo stick 

Bhavani Devi's father is a priest in the temple.  Her Mother is a housewife and she has five siblings. Bhavani is the youngest, her family condition was not good. And she was not able to buy fencing equipment. In such  situation, Bhavani learned fencing from the bamboo stick . To prepare for the Rio Olympics, his father took a loan, not only that her mother had to mortgage her jewellery.
