T20 World Cup 2022 :PAK vs ZIM, Why is Mr. Bean trending during T20 World Cup 2022?

Are you preparing to watch this evening's match between Pakistan and Zimbabwe? Before the next T20 match, fans from the two countries engaged in a Twitter tug-of-war over Mr. Bean. You are incorrect if you assume that the case is related to your favourite Rowan Atkinson character from childhood.

The 2016 event in which a "fake Mr. Bean" was sent to their nation was brought up by the Zimbabwe cricket fans, who criticised Pakistan and challenged it in the T20 World Cup match.

Although India and Pakistan have a long-standing rivalry in cricket, it appears that Zimbabwe may have something against Pakistan in Perth today.

Notably, on Wednesday, a new Twitter argument about a "fake Mr. Bean" incident broke out between cricket supporters from Pakistan and Zimbabwe.
When comedian Muhammad Asif from Pakistan visited Zimbabwe in 2016, locals mistaken him for Rowan Atkinson, who plays the real Mr. Bean in the movie. The Zimbabwean fans challenged Pakistan, claiming that the T20 World Cup would settle the issue. They claimed Pakistan had given them fake Mr. Beans.

Fans from Zimbabwe have prayed for their nation to win as a form of retaliation after recalling the episode and realising the bogus roleplay performed by Asif Mohammad, who is based in Pakistan. They posted on Twitter that they would not forgive them for giving us Pak Bean instead of Mr. Bean at one of their local events called the agriculture show.
